Pope Francis leads Angelus from Gemelli Hospital

Pope Francis, on Sunday, July 11, 2021, lead the Angelus from Gemelli Hospital, in a slightly fragile voice.

On his twitter handle, he states, "in these days of being hospitalised, I have experienced how important good health care is, accessible to all. This precious benefit must not be lost which needs everyone's contribution."

Earlier the same day, the tweets, "let us pray for all the sick that may no one be left alone, that everyone receives the anointing of listening, closeness and care. We can all give it with a visit, a phone call, an outstretched hand.

"Happy Sunday, don't forget to pray for me. Have a good lunch and see you soon." The Crowd cheered and responded, "Viva il Papa."

Pope Francis was hospitalized on Sunday, July 4, 2021, for an operation on his large intestine. The news came barely three hours after he greeted the people cheerfully at Saint Peter's Square, where he informed them of his visit to Slovakia and Hungary by September.

A lot of prayers have been said for the Pope, by the Priests, Religious Men and Women, and laymen. Thank God the Pope is recuperating.
